Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Thunder Brothers Studio LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at Stoney Works, 8 Stoney Lane, London SE19 3BD, United Kingdom, is the controller of personal data processed through thunderbros.net (the “website”). You can contact us about privacy at hello@thunderbros.net.
This policy covers the website only. Our games will have their own privacy information, published before release.
2. The short version
- The website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- The website does not load anything from third-party servers: fonts, images and scripts are served from our own hosting.
- We only receive personal data if you email us.
- We never sell your personal data.
3. What we collect and why
Technical data. When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver the pages and protect the service, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This data is kept in short-term server logs for security and reliability. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Emails you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use this only to reply and to handle your request. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We keep correspondence for up to 24 months after the conversation ends, unless we need it longer to meet a legal obligation.
4. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website and our email (hosting and email services), and only as far as needed for that purpose. They act on our instructions and are bound by data protection obligations. We may also disclose data if required by law.
5. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- receive your data in a portable format, where applicable.
To use any of these rights, email hello@thunderbros.net. We will respond within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), the UK data protection regulator.
7. Children
The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
8. Third-party stores
When you buy our games through a third-party game store, the store processes your payment and account data under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update.
